More progress today!!
It's like each day we go to see her we get these super happy surprises.
Today it was her air was completely off and they took out her IV!! 4 out of 6 hook ups gone... and now they just need to monitor her maybe overnight and then we could get her home tomorrow!!!!!! YAY!!!
It's so exciting! And we've been so blessed! We braced ourselves for the worse... the weeks of her being hooked up to machines, and we've been given the best - she's gotten so strong so fast!
Now the real adventure will begin - with the baby home with all of us crazies! The kids are going to go nuts and it's going to be so exciting!
I have so much to get ready - my room with her bed, her car seat, wash the premie outfit that my brother and sister in law gave me and then we've got to call the NICU at 10 in the morning and see if tomorrow is her day to come home!! Kids in school tomorrow - so we can get it all done, then we're going to just celebrate her coming home!! I'll be posting it as soon as we hear tomorrow...
So until then... here are some pictures from today.
She's so cute like a little peanut when she's all sleepy and rolled into a midget ball- and then she get all crazy and looks super funny... you'll see.
We went with the kids and my mom and brother today - we found the Ronald McDonald House - they have a family room where you can hang out - so the kids went there and we took turns with the kids and with the baby... the pics of the kids are from there... and the rest are w/ baby... i have to get my mom's camera card to get pictures of scott off of it... soon.
