Best surprise ever :)

Yesterday when we went to see the baby, I didn't know where she was.  I didn't know if it was even my baby in her spot.  Cause her C-PAP was off, and the feeding tube was gone and she wasn't all puffy... and there was this little baby there.  A little baby that I could get close to and feel her little face and stroke her tons of black hair.  In the morning when they change out the nose/face piece on the C-PAP they always see if she will tolerate it with it off, and she held her O2 sats (oxygen saturation) and didn't increase her respiratory rate!!!  She is already stronger!!  So right now they have her just on some high flow oxygen and she is eating on her own, and I even got to nurse yesterday... she latched right on and did it perfectly!  If she keeps eating good then next they get to take out her IV and she will have gone from 6 different things hooked up to her to 3!!

I could not stop smiling!!  I think some of my walls finally came down.  I was bracing myself for a couple weeks of her being there and me not being able to get close to her...  but yesterday I finally got excited!  -Chris still thinks it will be about a week before they let her go...  i was hoping for only a few more days.. so we'll just have to wait and see.  But for now, this is awesome awesome news!  And she is doing way better than they thought she would!

That's my little fighter :)

She sleeps with her legs crossed straight up in the air

My finger is on the palm of her foot

Her bed for now
