My retarded Redecorating & more...

So we're trying to pull up the front yard so that we can till it and put in sod and just reshape it a little bit. I wouldn't call it landscaping, but we definitely need to give the front yard (and the back) a good facelift. So I thought I would go out one morning while it was under 100degrees and shovel some of the rocks....
see, don't you love my desert look.. I while ago I tried to pull up an edge of the plastic that was under the rocks, and that whole row came up... so I left it like that until I could get a wheel barrel and pick up the rocks.
So It was hot and I thought I'll just do one barrel today and I was even sweating, which I don't sweat, so it was pretty hot, and I was working pretty hard. Then I tried to pull the wheelbarrel back to the side of the house and....

It totally tipped over and I was too weak to stop it. I was even too weak to pull it back up on its legs. It still lays there on its side, waiting for someone stronger to pick it up.

Chris would do it, but he has been a busy busy boy!!!!



Chris has been working his butt off and last night and today and his dad and brother came down and helped him get this up this morning. I'm so excited that we're going to have a porch!! Its going to cut a ton of heat out that poors through our two sliding doors, so hopefully we'll notice that in our electric bill. And like I mentioned earlier, we need to do the back yard soon too. Maybe at the end of summer we'll get to it. It would be so nice to have a yard for the girls to play in!
