You know... there are a few times when the girls faces light up - like pure excitement and joy bursting out of their big eyes.

The few that I can think of is on their birthdays, christmas... and therefore anything involving them getting presents...  mail from nana or grandma...   

and friends.

Friends make their faces light up with life that they don't always have.  

They giggle.  They play.  They have a blast.

Someone wise recently told me... "there is nothing sweeter than a few good, good friends."

I can totally see that in my girls.

Being silly
