Our Easter Weekend

Saturday I was sick as a dog but Chris got them girls to Gunstock ranch for their annual Easter Egg hunt and to ride the horses.  Keira was scared but went and rode the horse with Jayden...tandem :)

Then we had an Easter Egg hunt at our apartments which was put on by the RA's - thank you so much!  you guys are awesome!

They girls had fun!  Jayden got way to many eggs... I think she broke the rules and started early

Sunday morning they woke up to their baskets and Jayden ran into our room and said, "MOM!  the Beaster Bunny puts a egg on my bed!"  She thought that was pretty cool.

They checked out their goods and found the eggs around the apartment.  I think they were most thrilled with eggs that had change (money) in them.  Kai loved his egg he found... he shook and shook it.

I got these outfits from target and thought the girls would love them.

I had visions of beautiful family pictures.

Keira hated it and was grumpy...  all I got was a picture of her back- the little turd.

Our friends in TVA and the ward invited us to have dinner with them...  saturday night from 11pm to midnight I was at the store getting tons of stuff to make and bring...but felt to sick to go around people and get them sick too... so we stayed home and Danelle brought us some food

And we just watched conference, took naps, ate.. yum... and then before bed watched "The Testaments"  The girls were obsessed with the movie and were so worried about what was happening to the Savior.  I hope they got a little more of the message of what true Easter is...  hopefully we'll work on it even more for next year :)
