Today was a great sabbath day.  We had Kai's blessing and then food with friends.  The blessing was great, I can't wait to type it up and read it.  And I made TONS of food, and have tons of left overs...  thank you to everyone who came!!  special thanks to my girls Cassie and Danelle for helping by bringing stuff and lending me pots and stuff.. and Shanae for taking some pictures (she's really really good...  see her stuff HERE)  hopefully we got a few good ones as a family.

Sorry I didn't go out and personally ask everyone to come, I thought it was going to be crazy with Chris's friends and their families from work, but none of them came, so we had tons of extra food... and I wish I had personally asked more people to come...  oh well, next time, if there is a next time.

That being said, it was still a little sad that we did it and didn't have all the aunts and uncles and grandparents here...  that was sad :(

Kai looked cute, the girls looked cute, Chris gave a great blessing, Kai didn't scream, and Brett said that was cause Chris had like padlocked the binkie to his face :)  ha ha...  but it was great.  I had a ton of people over and I didn't even stress out about it all...   I had such a great time.   SO thank you!

oh...ps.  I got a calling... finally  :)  being on the activity committee - which needs help so it should be fun, I've been having all these ideas for stuff we could do - I practically volunteered.   and since moving here almost 9 months ago now, Chris and I have finally been asked to speak... we'll see how that goes... :)
