Kai's One Month Pictures

I absolutely adore and love his smile!
When he smiles I just giggle out loud and love it! Its the small special moment that is so brief but so powerful. I'm going to try and capture as many of these as I can!

The color difference between Chris and Kai... I'm guessing that it won't be so stark in a few months from now or next year

June 21st - Father's Day
Which was like another Mother's Day... Chris let me sleep in again, he put the girls to bed for their naps and fell asleep with them and we did go out to dinner to celebrate what an amazing dad Chris is!

Can't you tell the girls just love him to pieces!!

June 1 - My boy!

K... sorry Shirlee.. she found this by her suitcase in the girls room while she was here
How it got into the house... I do not know... but it was pretty exciting.
We caught it and put it in the bath tub and took pictures of how huge it was! This guy would have been great for some of my physiology labs last semester where we experimented on muscles and nerves of toads!

Taken May 30th-
Keira loves Kai! She seems to want to spend more time with him than Jayden does (he's probably a little too slow pace for her for now) They both are very sweet to their brother

Chris is such a good dad!

Kai's first day at the beach!
May 29th
he was 5 days old and we went to Hukilau to see the Iosepa (a traditional Hawaiian Ship) come in from a voyage to some other islands. They had been out for a couple weeks and they have a whole ceremony that they do for greeting the crew and welcoming them home. They blow the conch shells and someone is singing in Hawaiian... then they have dancing and music... here the little kids are singing to them and gave the crew their lei's. The girls were so cute !

Jayden was super excited because she called it a pirate ship
And If you don't know... Jayden is a pirate... actually, she calls herself Captain Jayden (sometimes Captain Jack Sparrow... this is all influenced by the pirates of the carribean) and Keira is, of course, Princess Keira, after Elizabeth Swan.

The Iosepa - which is Hawaiian for Joseph .... I was here in Hawaii the first time they launched it after building it. Everything is done in old Polynesian tradition. Shirlee was really excited to see everything with the different cultures

One of the first days home from the hospital with Kai the girls we very good at holding him

Getting Shirlee at the airport May 26th
