K... My bad... I totally miss California friends and family too! Especially my Brynn and Kelli and Carrie... I always watch your guys' blogs and wish I could be there with you and with my kiddos to play with all of your kiddos! We'll be there some day... just don't know when! :(
K... I officially started dieting yesterday... I weighed in, and I went for a walk which turned into a job for about a mile which I was very proud of myself for being able to do.... really, dieting for me right now means not eating a candybar a day or like 5 starcrunches... which I have done A LOT!! So I have just started to eat like good sandwiches and extra fruit and vegetables, and Chris and I eat a lot of chicken and I got whole wheat tortillas and brown rice... I dunno... any diet tips I'm totally interested in hearing about them... But I have been eating a ton, just better food, and I'll wake up in the middle of the night to feed Kai and I am starving again! I don't know if its the nursing or the way my body is just used to mass quantities of food... we'll see!
( I have a picture to post for motivation... I'll get to it maybe tonight)
And Kai is totally starting to interact with me and respond to me talking to him and smiling... and I LOVE IT!!! he is so cute! and I am enjoying my baby boy so so much!!
And Thanks Cassie for hanging out with us so much! it has been a life saver to have a friend to hang out with and it has made the days go by faster and happier! WE LOVE YOU and Taylor and Jack!!

Nursing babies use about 500 calories a day (if I remember my stats right), so don't skimp too much! I can barely jog for a mile and my last baby was born 3 1/2 years ago. You rock.
You look incredible, I can't believe you're even talking about dieting. I love seeing all of your hawaii pics. stay as long as you can. :)
I was starving until a couple of weeks ago. & he's 5 months. I still do get starving, but it is more rare now. Hungry little boys.
But as soon as I stopped being starving always, I entered the "my hair is falling out like mad crazy" stage. Always something to look forward to after child birth! :)
I also had to supplement an once or two after most daytime feeding until a little bit before 3 months. Don't know why, he was just still hungry always. I must have sped up or he slowed down.
This is an all about me comment, but it just sounds like we experienced a lot of the same things & sometimes it is nice to know someone is on the same page as you, you know? Love ya! hug your baby and your big girls for us!
