FLASH FLOOD WARNING!
I'm up doing homework... it's a little after midnight... but the heavens have just opened up and are pouring and pouring... I checked the weather online and there were several flash flood warnings for our area and the 2 miles NW of us and about 16 miles SE of us... seriously, if I wasn't upstairs in our unit... and was downstairs, I would pretty worried! There has been lots of flooding and they shut off the only road that comes around the island (Kamehameha) cause they have to clean up the sand and rocks and coral and debris... its pretty crazy. The other day we were driving to town and it was slow cause of all the clean up crews and the waves are just a few feet away from the road, and the waves were coming up over and crashing on the cars... it was kinda awesome! and scary at the same time :)
I love the rain, its so amazing here... but also, I'm looking forward to the hot, stagnant, humid heat that comes with summer, and the mellow ocean that my kids can play in!
oh... ps. only four more weeks of this semester... and i'm almost half way through this week!! yay!!

Jealous! Okay, not of the waves crashing on my car, because that would give me a panic attack I'm sure...but a little more rain would be nice! :)

So good to see you guys are doing so well and anxious for that cute little boy and end of the semester......we miss you guys, but are so happy for you.
