You know.... its been pretty warm here in the freakin desert. So instead of inviting ourselves to the pools in the vicinity... or spending $30 everyday on gas to drive out to my mom and dad's magnificent house and pool... Chris and I invested in our own.. let me just say, thank you to BigLots and Target clearance items. Now I do yard work and get really freakin hot and then we just jump in the pool... and now the kids swim and play for a while and it has totally been a life-saver!!! Its been really hard to stay inside so much with the kids... and try to not drive too much with the high gas prices... so I think this was a pretty good idea and the kids love it!! and I do too!!!
its just too bad that we have so many power tools on the patio and dangers lurk everywhere in the back yard.... I guess my kids are used to it though with the constant projects around here!
+++ we've cleaned it up since... the back yard is starting to look like a backyard, not a junk yard. :)

Hey Leisa, Sorry Pace and I didn't make it over on monday. I just knew that if I did come that I would be standing up the whole time trying to keep him happy. It has been hard trying to keep him happy with his Reflux, I hope it doesn't last much longer. Your house looks really good, can't wait to see it in person. We will have to do something soon for sure. I will give you a call or you can give me a call. I think that DJ gave you our home number.
