The Good the Bad and the Stinky....
and not exactly in that order.
THE BAD.... and oh so SAD!!!
Well, most of you know my little angel fell and broke her leg... or more her ankle. Its that far end of her calf bone, on the inside of her leg... (medial malleolus of the distal tibia) i think... and I wrote that from memory... and I'll include a picture... I think?
It was kinda shocking to hear from the doctor at Cornerstone Pediatric Urgent Care ( I have to say that name cause they are so so good!) I just couldn't believe it, I thought I was being so ridiculous to bring her in, and then she says its broken... a clean, all the way through brake. I just was in shock for most of the day, or denial... whatever it was I just was smiling (I know that sounds bad) like, "No freakin way" But then I ended up crying, feeling like such a horrible mother who let her baby go play with the big kids and then brakes something.
Keira was quite the trooper at the Dr. office... did good with the doc, hated the X-rays and hated the splinting... and she was so so tired and ready for her nap... but she got a sucker and a sticker for being so brave, and by the time we drove the 1/2 mile home... she looked like this.
fast asleep with the sucker in her mouth and sweet sugary drool all over the car seat...she is so cute
THE GOOD
Is that Chris is doing an awesome job getting the cabinets up. He is such a perfectionist! I think it will take him a little while cause he makes it perfect. and i'm not exaggerating the slightest. It looks so good and I am so excited!! It looks beautiful and amazing!! And I love love love it!!!
My husband is such a stud and a hunk and so talented. I am going to have the most beautiful kitchen. It might make me even want to stay for a while in this crazy house!
And finally.... THE STINKY.... which is also very good!!!
Jayden pooped in the toilet today!! She wouldn't let me put on her diaper after her nap, so we kept running to the bathroom to try and pee... and then she disappeared and I found her in the bathroom trying to pull down her pants and it was a little stinky... so I pulled em down and threw her up on the toilet... and... plop!! She did it!!
So tomorrow I think we'll go find some big girl panties for her to practice in. We stay home a lot anyway, and now keira's not really wanting to go out so I think we'll work on it! yeah!!! hopefully this will be the end of half of my diaper puchases!

That's gonna look so nice, Leis. I'm sorry about Keira! It is really sad. We've been praying for her and having Jonah pray for her! It's so cute. BTW, he said his first prayer by himself and all he said was "Heavenly Father, bless Nana, Papa, Scott, Amen." He is obsessed with Mom, Dad and Scott. It's so cute. Well, I hope Keira hangs in there! You're not a bad mom. I let Jonah fall off the sink onto his head today...luckily he has a hard head.
POOR baby Keira! SO sad. I think baby casts are so cute though. You should do a HOT pink one! Your not a bad momma. With kids, it is so hard to tell cuz they can't communicate!
Your kitchen is lookin' good. Can't wait to see it when it is all the way done!
Dude, as sad as that is, that picture of Keira is so cute! And I'm excited to see pics of your kitchen when it's done! That is so not fair is Jayden will potty train this early. I just got Dallin trained on New Years Day. Oh, btw, her blessing will be the first sunday of Feb.
