Camping in Flagstaff

This last weekend we went up to Flagstaff to go out to the cinder lakes.... i don't really know what the cinder lakes is, but i guess its where a long long time ago a volcano errupted and now there are all these little ground down lava rocks.... so anyway my dad came out with most of my brothers and then Ryan, Chris's boss came with his daughter, and then Bill, Chris's brother and our neice and nephew came out... we all went camping and they all brought dirt bikes and bill brought a quad... we... uh.... brought just us :) Maybe someday we'll have a toy or two, too. The weather was so nice in Flag.... it was a little warm during the day, but so nice in the morning and in the night... the temp dropped a little too low at night for Jayden... at like 1 in the morning she had pulled her covers off and was freezing and we couldn't get her back to sleep, so at 3am we drove to Chris's dad's and finished off the night... riding the next day was so fun. Jayden didn't seem too impressed with the quad ride, but she thought it was pretty and wanted to play with the wires and buttons. I got on one of the dirt bikes for the first time... the dirt was a little too thick where you kinda don't have control of the front wheel... so it was a little shakey... but I can't wait to ride again later.
It was so nice to get away for a night... it was a lot of work and I was so tired... it wasn't really like a vacation... but I'm glad Chris got away from his endless work. Hopefully we can go on a longer vacation later sometime. :)
