Jayden's Blessing

March 5th, 2006

Yes, Jayden is almost 3 months old and we finally had her blessed in Church. We waited so that as much family as possible could come and be there for her, and stand in in the blessing.
It was such a stressful weekend!! First of all, my house is a dump and we never keep it up, so I had like a cleaning bootcamp Friday through Saturday... and a little Sunday morning.
I was trying schedule Jayden's day Sunday so she would be asleep for the blessing, and of course, Murphy's law, she did everything different from how she normally would. She was so tired by the time it was almost time to go to church, so we put her in her pretty little dress, and she threw a HUGE FIT!!! screaming screaming screaming!!! So i stripped her clothes off her and fed her a little and she passed out!! isn't that picture awesome! Then I pulled her dress back on and we booked it to church. The blessing was beautiful and it was such a sweet little moment in time. I was so proud when Chris held her up in her little dress and bonnet.
Shortly after the blessing she woke back up and must have remembered that she hates that dress, so she continued the temper tantrum. I walked around the halls of church with a naked little baby... but when she fell back alseep later at home, I put the dress back on again and snapped a few pictures!
