So the laundry did finally get my attention yesterday... and as my Adult ADD would have it, it took me about half the day to get it sorted, put the already clean laundry away from a few days ago, wash and dry the "new" or I guess "current" dirty laundry... and guess what, some of it got left in the laundry over night....
Well...
it was in the laundry,
until...
TVA THREW IT AWAY!!!!
I am so upset I have cried, left crying voice mail and wrote an email to the lady in charge of this lame policy.
Last night I seriously thought I was going to make it.... I heard the clock strike... and I counted the dongs... and ran over to the laundry, but it was 10pm, not 9pm (the time it closes)
So I went this morning... after fighting with kids and two hours (fighting with kids) at a Dr. appointment.
And it was gone...
i checked the dumpster where they said they had gone to all the trouble to throw it... yep
it was really gone
I am so miffed I can't believe it. Like I have a bunch of baby clothes... ?? I know that some were in there... I think most of it was my bathroom towels....I hope... I hope nothing else... I hope nothing important.
I just don't have the time and money to replace all of this!
and if I didn't live in Mormon-ville... I would be cussing right now..
specifically, I would be cussing in the TVA offices at the lame people that wrote this policy up, or those that enforce it,
but that's not going to happen...
i'm to righteous for that...
HA!

I hate that new policy! There has got to be a better way! It seems like for every change they make for the better, they make 3 or 4 for the worse!
we'll write an email to her too!
That is terrible!! I'm so sorry! What a cruel policy for all of us poor college students to deal with...
Seriously we need to get something figured out, because you know that is happening to several people and it is true, who in the world can afford to replace all of their laundry, it is their fault, it closes at 9:00 pm. That right there is STUPID!!!!! I will fight them for you:) Seriously, that DOES need to change, is it really going to put them out to let it sit over night, SERIOUSLY!
that is so annoying. you should go in and speak some harsh words minus the cussing because that is so not cool.
hey leisa!!! found your blog! i just made mine private but if you wanna read it, i can add you! email me: massageliko@aol.com
and congrats on the baby!!! i haven't seen you forever! and stop running until you are healed!! your body needs to use it's energy for healing right now. and you look freaking awesome!
I just re read my comment and now I know why you were confussed, it didn't really make sense. What I should of said is that you handled the situation a whole lot better than I would have. :)
i finally found your blog!
that really bugs me! why do they think they have the right to throw away peoples laundry!?!
I put down a laundry basket of stuff I don't put in the dryers (my really good stuff) by accident, and they put it in the freebie bin. I have seen on two different occasions people wearing my child's clothes in the last two days. It was really hard for me not to say "take that off it is mine!" afterall, it's not their fault that some RA decided to take my basket and dump it and all my clothes in the freebie bin. But it's really heartbreaking!
