Only 10 more days to go... i'm sure they will go quickly :) (that's me being optimistic... you like?)

So we went to the Dr.'s today... it went well, my friend Courtney came to help with the girls... which was awesome! except Jayden gets extremely sensitive and emotional with her... just doesn't mesh well for some reason... but it was a big help anyhow! I am dilated to a 2... whoopee!! and 70% effaced... and I don't remember what else... Dr. tried to get things started and said that I'd deliver tomorrow... but I'm not all the way convinced... and just in case we're scheduled to go in next Wednesday to get things moving along.

I tried to have Courtney take the girls out so the Dr. could check me, but Jayden refused to go... so she sad at the top of the bed/bench thingy and held my head in her lap as I was checked (lovely, I know... ) but Jayden rubbed my hair and whispered it was okay and gave me a kiss on my forehead. She is so sweet sometimes!!! i'm considering having here there while I give birth just so she can coach me and tell me its all going to be okay :) i love my sweet Jayden... she is such a handful and then just brings so much joy and energy to our lives.

The girls are always most excited to hear the baby's heart beat... they say that they want to hear "Baby's boom boom" as soon as the doc gets the doppler on the little guy their little faces light up with excitement. Today the Dr. did the doppler on each of the girls hearts so they could hear their own "boom boom". Now Jayden is really convinced that there is a baby in her stomach too. She just prayed for her nap about her own little baby in her tummy. so cute!! and she's been praying the last couple of days for the baby to come out. She asked me this morning if it would fall out the bottom of my shorts! ha ha! I don't know if i'm telling her to much or should do the Dr. Seuss version... I just tell her i have to push it out... and she says, "Like poop?" and I say, "Yes" -while laughing hysterically - "Yes... kinda like poop!"

Keira meanwhile is obsessed with my mom, -NANA. She says her favorite sentence over and over again... "Nana come my house when baby come." She is really looking forward to seeing our family. Both the girls have started to really ask a lot about going "far away" to see nana and papa and scott and uncle mike and Grandma... they especially get excited when ever they see a plane or whenever we talk about swimming.. they really want to go swimming at nana's house.

Keira is almost done with her potty training.. she had an accident yesterday... weird.. but #2 is still a work in progress... she had two good days in a row so I had promised to take her shopping for whatever she wanted (I'm a shameless briber of the girls). Chris almost had a heart attack and died when she told him she wanted to go shopping. They were these horrible girly words coming out of his 2 year old! I seriously think it freaked him out...

And speaking of Chris!!!!
Chris had his 30th birthday on Saturday!!
We mostly just hung out together and went shopping and went to the beach and we went to Chris's favorite restaurant TWICE... Chili's... it was yummy :)
We got Chris some weightlifting/work out stuff and some nerf darts that he likes to shoot at the girls... he also got a underwater spear thing for skin diving... we've been working on snorkeling and being brave at going out in the ocean... he says he feels a lot better when he has a spear ha ha!! and I don't blame him... I go a few yard out and get tired and look back at shore and get scared and turn around.. Chris is really starting to love it and Jayden is trying to swim out after him and has these goggles that she thinks she can go out and swim just like Chris and snorkel... its so rad and so terrifying at the same time! We are trying to find some good floaties or a raft or something to take them out on.. and find some good little kid snorkel gear. I'll have to video Jayden swiming in the ocean with Chris... it is awesome!

Aight... so I thought I would do some random updating... and now i need to clean my house in case anything might be moving along with the little guy. :)
