A Few Firsts

Jayden was watching a Disney movie the other day , like always. And I walked over after doing something in the kitchen or something, and she was passed out!! It was the funniest thing ever!! She never does that. She has fallen asleep on me maybe once and on scott once, but usually she has to be confined in her little cage of a crib for my monkey girl... so it was so funny and it was so cute so I had to take pictures of course!

Then Keira, she can only sleep on her tummy. And all throughout the night she randomly flips over and cries and I have to wake up and go turn her over onto her tummy again and she usually goes back to sleep. Well... I was going through tons of pictures of Jayd to make an album, and she was always asleep on her back but surrounded by tons of animals and hugging stuff too. So I thought, well maybe if I give her (keira) some animals she can go to sleep on her back.

So.... for the FIRST TIME EVER in Keira's little life (which is almost 6month old by the way)
She fell asleep on her back! I know, not a very exciting event on the surface, but if she can eventually learn to sleep on her back, this could possibly mean a much better nights rest for me! Which i must say, is so exciting!

And then.... We were driving to Queen creek out to my mom n dads and Jayden was starting to get fussy so i said, ,"go to sleep" and then she just shut her eyes and never opened them up again!!! She actually fell asleep all the way to the pool. and I had to take a picture of it and we almost veered off the road because i was trying to take this picture.

I think its so funny how my whole post was just about my kids falling asleep and how great I think that is. I really love our time together we play and the girls laugh and make each other laugh, and make me laugh. But sometimes it is so awesome when they fall asleep :) and then I have time to clean:( ha ha ha

OH! I forgot!! last thursday I took the girls to get some pictures at penney's and Keira sat up so good, so straight and tall for the FIRST TIME!! well, she's kinda done it before, but more like the hunched over, folded in half baby sitting up kinda thing. So Friday I got some good pictures of her sitting up. She really doesn't like to very much... most of the time when I sit her up she complains or cries. She'd rather be laying down, which is so opposite of Jayden, jayden wanted to crawl and walk and move around and sit up... she always wanted more it seemed, and Keira is so content to just lay there and be entertained.

And this picture i just thought was cool. Me and Jayd were looking like this and i had the camera in my hand and swung it out and got a lucky shot!
